Description:
The 77 Elektronika GlucoTalk is an automatic blood glucose meter. The accuracy of its blood glucose measurement technology has yet to be proven to MDR requirements. Blood glucose measurements are taken from the finger. It is intended for self-measurement and home use.
Assessment:
The technology used in the 77 Elektronika GlucoTalk, to measure blood glucose, has failed in a clinical validation study, in a specific population, according to a recognised standard protocol, as published in a peer-reviewed publication. However, it was also assessed in another study, but the results have not been published and cannot be verified.
